"Not Just a Coffee Shop"

Blog Post Image

Coffee X Change has been one of my "go to" places for a very long time. I am so happy to put them in the spotlight for this week's FEATURED FRIDAY!  I Interviewed Johnathan, the manager and son to the owner, at Coffee X Change.

Their Story:

Johnathan's father, Keya, followed his 4 brothers from Iran to Tucson when he was only 16 years old. He attended the University of Arizona where he received a Degree in Business. Keya started out his career selling napkins and straws to bars to opening up his own bars and nightclubs. (If you are my age, you will remember DV8 as one of those nightclubs). In 1994 he joined the coffee shop business when it started to be the new "up and coming thing." Keya set out to "Have a place for everyone in the community." A place where everyone could go; not just coffee, but tea, smoothies, pastries, and real food. Coffee X Change has been a staple in this community ever since.

About Coffee X Change:

Coffee X Change has offered an ever-evolving menu over the past 26 years, offering a variety of coffee, teas, pastries, desserts and gourmet meals. They have "quality stuff for a reasonable price." Johnathan and Keya make it a point to listen to what their customer's have to say; they are unlike other businesses as they, " Work for the customer, not the other way around." They serve their entire menu ALL day.. so if you are getting off the night shift and don't want breakfast then they have a meal for you or if you are like many out there and want breakfast for dinner then they have breakfast food for you. They offer many healthy options that are made with fresh ingredients and love from the wonderful staff.
